Started school today. I am only 3 terms away from starting the nursing program. I am SOOO excited! This term is Psychology 237: Lifespan development, and Chemistry 110: Organic general chemistry. The chemistry class is from 6:30pm to 9:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays. I don't get home until about 10pm!! I HATE being out late. Let alone using my brain at that hour. Uuuggg.
I have been knitting Haiku, from knitty.com. I'm not sure which season it's from. Spring 2003? It's been coming along smoothly and fast. I got some wonderfully soft cotton in a buttery yellow. Pics coming soon.
Well, I should be off doing some reading or knitting ;)

Well folks, I think I'm back! I am in the process of redesigning my blog so it more suits me :)
I will be talking mostly about knitting, but I'll add in some of my everyday life. That includes my family.... Jerry (dh, occupation: police officer), Nate: 9yo son, likes army stuff, science and outdoorsy stuff, and legos, Mary: 4yo daughter, very redheaded in temperment and hair, like barbie (blech), drawing, and legos.
That's my family :D I am 27yo (eek!) a nursing student, soon to be followed by a midwife liscence, woohoo! I believe in natural living, natural childbirth and child rearing (ie: attachment parenting), I grow a large organic veg. garden, love to knit, sew, and read.
Well, that's me and my family.
I will be putting in a comment thingy soon and pics of my current projects. Feel free to email me w/ comments for now. But, please tell me who you are in the subject line, cuz I like to delete mail, hee hee.

Wow. I didn't realize how long it's been since I updated my blog. I apologize :(
Well, my garden went to pots. The only real thing I got off of it was tomatoes, pumpkins, and lettuce.
Let's see. We reroofed our garage/shop, made a new pig pen, sold our dog, ds started 4th grade, repainted my kitchen... Umm can't think of what else.
As for KNITTING I've been working on several projects. A raglan fall colored sweater for me, a Gryfindor (Harry Potter) scarf for ds, Opal socks for me, hmmm... think that's it. I need to make mary a new winter hat, tho. It's getting a bit chilly here now! I'd like to make her some slippers also. I have some Brown Sheep wool that I will make them out of.
Well, I finished Harry Potter 3 and 4 in less than a week, and now I'm on #5. I just love these books. As you know I'm an obsessive reader :D
I hope to keep this blog updated now that it's starting to get cooler and wetter outside. Have a good week!
